Manitou Group has set up a new subsidiary in Indonesia, PT Manitou Indonesia Perkasa, strengthening the group’s presence in the market. The entity was created to expand the rental business of Manitou Group equipment across the country and to better support its existing dealers, PT Indo Traktor Utama for the Manitou brand and PT Uniquip for the Gehl brand.

\n\n

With this initiative, PT Manitou Indonesia Perkasa will focus on supporting and supplying the rental industry nationwide, providing partners with access to Manitou’s full range of machines. By doing so, the company enables its partners to respond more effectively to the growing demands of their customers and the evolving market needs.

\n\n

“Indonesia is a dynamic and rapidly growing market, and rental solutions are becoming increasingly important to support the construction, infrastructure and industrial sectors,” said Bernd Freudenmann, vice president APAC at Manitou Group. “Through PT Manitou Indonesia Perkasa, we are committed to working closely with our existing partners and rental companies to ensure they have the right solutions to serve their customers with conﬁdence.”

Manitou Asia has signed a new dealership agreement with Sun Earth Co Ltd to distribute the Manitou-branded machines throughout Japan. These comprise telehandlers, articulated loaders, access work platforms, forklifts, skid steer loaders and track loaders.

\n\n

Sun Earth’s strong reputation and extensive network across Japan, including locations in Tokyo, Hokkaido, Miyagi, Fukuoka, Chiba and Shiga, combined with its deep industry expertise, well-established customer relationships and in-depth understanding of the local market, uniquely positions the company to represent the Manitou brand effectively, said Manitou Asia. Sun Earth’s capabilities will also support the delivery of tailored solutions and high-quality aftersales service to customers in Japan.

\n\n

Sun Earth was founded in 2010, starting with the import and sales of shredding machines from Germany in the Japanese market. Since then, the company has expanded its business to include import of machines for construction, stevedoring, forestry and waste management markets, while also taking full responsibility for aftersales service and parts supply.

\n\n

In addition to its six service oﬃces across Japan, in Chiba Prefecture, Sun Earth operates ‘Kisarazu Machine Park’, which serves as a parts supply hub boasting an inventory of more than 200,000 items, as well as ‘Sun Earth Sorting Lab’– a testing centre for waste sorting machines.

Manitou Asia has appointed Abomar Equipment Sales Corporation as the official dealer for Gehl equipment in the Philippines. This agreement marks another important step in expanding Manitou Asia’s footprint in Southeast Asia.

Manitou Asia Pte Ltd has signed a new dealership agreement with Pin Siam Company Limited to distribute Gehl branded compact equipment in Thailand, including telehandlers, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders and track loaders. This partnership marks another key advancement in Manitou Asia’s strategy to expand its market presence in the earthmoving equipment sector throughout the region.

Pin Siam’s strong reputation and extensive network across Thailand, including locations in Bangkok, Wang Noi, Lampang, Hat Yai, Udon Thani and Surin, makes them an ideal partner, said Manitou Asia. “This collaboration will further enhance our reach, supported by Pin Siam’s team of highly skilled technicians, who bring extensive experience and expertise in specialised heavy machinery,” added the company.

Established in 1997, Pin Siam started its business with the service of distributing second-hand heavy machinery, spare parts, and maintenance of heavy machinery. In 2014, the company began to serve as a distributor of new and second-hand heavy machinery from recognised brands in Thailand.

“At Pin Siam, we focus on representing equipment brands that are known for their high quality, reliability and efficiency, and Gehl meets all these criteria. Although telehandlers, skid steer loaders and backhoe loaders have not yet gained significant traction in the market, we recognise their potential,” said Kirk Burapachaisri, managing director of Pin Siam Company Limited.
